LaminatesGraniteCorian

An advanced blend of natural minerals and pure acrylic polymer, creating an inert, nontoxic, chemically unreactive, hypoallergenic material, developed for one purpose: to create an ideal surface for living. We at Piermont Kitchens are used to dealing with this fine product.

Corian® is a unique solid surface material. Since its introduction in 1967, it has proven itself to be a remarkably durable, versatile material that's easy to live with in both residential and commercial environments. Colour and pattern run all the way through and cannot wear away, or delaminate. Joints are unobtrusive, impermeable and hygienic, creating a seamless appearance.

Corian® has a rich, natural translucence and is inviting to the touch. Offering versatility, function and durability far beyond the scope of other materials. Yet surfaces can be fabricated with conventional tools. Look beyond the surface to understand how Corian® meets all your design and performance needs

Easy to clean, whatever the spill. Resistant to stains, because liquids can't penetrate. Corian® surfaces are hygienic, with no pores or voids like tile, wood, granite or marble. Mold and mildew are easily removed, leaving no visible damage as may occur with other materials - When Corian® looks clean, it really is clean!

This material can survive the impacts, nicks and cuts that may mar other surfaces. Should any damage occur, it can be repaired right on-site, saving both labor and resources.

Surfaces are completely renewable, usually with ordinary abrasive cleaners and a green Scotch-Brite® pad. Renewability and durability make Corian® inherently environmentally friendly.

A global network of Certified Fabricators including Counter Productions, a local fabricator, which we at Piermont Kitchens use with confidence, will ensure a quality installation of this virtually limitless material.
